Mechanical Design and Installation for Premium Residential Refurbishment in Hampstead
WHPS Mechanical Ltd was appointed to deliver a full Design and Build mechanical installation for the refurbishment of 23 high-specification self-contained flats in Hampstead, one of London’s most prestigious residential areas. Completed in 2019, this project required comprehensive solutions for heating, plumbing, and ventilation, executed to exacting standards of quality and efficiency.
Scope of Works
- Design: Detailed mechanical design using BIM, Revit, and Magicad platforms
- Drainage: Above ground drainage systems installed using Polypipe PVC
- Plumbing: Hot and cold water distribution using Geberit Mapress and Buteline
- Sanitary Ware: Installation of luxury fittings by Hansgrohe and Villeroy & Boch
- Ventilation: Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) using Nuaire System 3 for air quality control
- Testing & Commissioning: Final system verification and certification for safety and compliance
