This ambitious change-of-use scheme transformed a former office building into 130 modern, self-contained flats, requiring a full suite of coordinated MEP services including heating, plumbing, ventilation, air conditioning, and fire sprinkler systems.
Scope of Works
- Mechanical Design: Developed using BIM methodology with Revit and Magicad for precision and coordination
- Drainage: Above ground drainage system installed using Polypipe PVC
- Plumbing: Hot and cold water systems using Buteline piping throughout all units
- Hot Water: Joule Cyclone Air cylinders delivering consistent and efficient domestic hot water
- Sanitary Ware: Full installation across all 130 flats
- Ventilation: MVHR systems provided by Nuaire to ensure indoor air quality and energy efficiency
- Air Conditioning: Daikin systems integrated for residential cooling and comfort
- Fire Protection: Installation of a compliant fire sprinkler system covering all apartments
- Testing & Commissioning: Comprehensive system commissioning to ensure compliance, efficiency, and safety
